Chloe Roberts has a B.F.A. in Sequential Art with a minor in Storyboarding, and is in her final quarter for earning an M.F.A. in Sequential Art. She works hard and loves drawing, her family, and her dogs, cats, and chinchillas.

Cardboard Bear went live May 2008 as a project for a digital portfolio course. The entry page features a Widget from her 24-hour comic.

The title can be explained by the fact that she likes bears.

She is currently brainstorming on multiple, half of which are inspired by Krisanne McSpadden, her co-writer.
